Frequently Asked Questions

Still not sure? Ask us anything or message us on WhatsApp.

What wood are your printing blocks made from?
Most blocks are carved from seasoned Sheesham (Indian rosewood) or teak. Both are dense, close-grained hardwoods that hold fine detail and stand up to thousands of impressions. The wood is air-dried and oil-seasoned before carving to prevent warping.
What can I use the blocks for?
Fabric and textile printing, paper and stationery, pottery and air-dry clay, leather, wall stencilling, and mixed-media art. Use fabric or block-printing inks for cloth, and water- or oil-based inks for paper.
How do I care for a wooden block?
Wipe clean with a dry or barely-damp cloth straight after use — never soak it. Every few weeks, rub a little mustard or linseed oil into the wood and let it absorb. Store the block flat, away from direct sun, heat and damp.
Do you make custom or personalised blocks?
Yes. Send us your artwork or a description and we will carve a block to your design. We confirm size, wood and price first, and share progress photos before dispatch. Get started on the contact page.
Do you supply wholesale or bulk orders?
We work with studios, brands, print houses and retailers. Tell us the designs, quantities and timeline on the contact page and we will send a quote with bulk pricing and freight options.
How do I get a price?
Add the blocks you like to your quote list and send it in one message, or use "Inquire about this piece" on any product. We reply within 24 hours with pricing, availability and shipping.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide from Jaipur with tracking. See Shipping & Delivery for timelines by region.
Will I pay customs or import duty?
International parcels may attract import duty or tax set by your country, payable by the recipient on arrival. We declare parcels accurately as handicraft goods.
Why does my block look slightly different from the photo?
Each block is carved by hand from a natural material. Small differences in grain, tone and carving depth are expected and are the mark of a genuine hand-made object.
